Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the first step?

You can schedule a free 15-minute consultation through my contact page or by emailing jsilver.audacity@gmail.com. This is a chance for us to connect, discuss your goals, and see if working together feels like a good fit.

How long with therapy take?

The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and what feels right for you. Some people come for a few months to work through a specific issue; others stay longer for ongoing support and deeper transformation. We’ll revisit your goals periodically to make sure therapy continues to feel aligned and useful.

What is KAP?

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy combines the therapeutic use of ketamine, a legal, FDA-approved medication, with intentional psychotherapy to support healing, insight, and emotional growth. Ketamine can temporarily quiet rigid thought patterns and increase access to self-compassion, emotional release, and embodied awareness. When paired with skilled integration, it can deepen self-understanding and help clients move through depression, anxiety, or trauma.

What kinds of people do you work with?

I work primarily with individuals and couples seeking deeper connection, growth, and clarity in their relationships and within themselves. My work often involves assisting with navigating transitions in love, family, or purpose. I also specialize in supporting women and mothers looking to reconnect with their sensuality, self-trust, and emotional aliveness.

Do you offer virtual or

in-person sessions?

Yes. I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions.
In-person offerings (such as KAP, therapeutic groups, workshops, or retreats) are available periodically and announced through this website

Getting started with KAP

I offer KAP in partnership with Journey Clinical, a national network of licensed medical providers specializing in ketamine-assisted care. Journey Clinical handles all medical evaluations, prescriptions, and dosing oversight, ensuring medical safety and compliance.
My role is to provide psychotherapeutic support before, during (when applicable), and after your ketamine sessions. This includes:
• Preparation sessions to clarify your intentions and build trust
• Dosing sessions (virtual or in-person through Journey Clinical partners)
• Integration sessions to help you process and apply your experience

What can I expect in therapy?

Therapy with me is part deep exploration, part real talk. We’ll get curious about your patterns, your desires, and the stories that shape you.  I will also create space to help you notice what’s really happening in your relationships (including the one with yourself). We’ll slow down enough to catch the nuances and understand how you got to this place, and work towards making choices that align with the life you actually want.

What are your fees?

• Individuals: $175 per 50-minute session
• Couples: $225 per 60-minute session
• KAP integration sessions: varies based on location and individual treatment goals, from $200-$400

I am an out-of-network provider. This means you pay directly for sessions, and I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan’s out-of-network benefits.
Payment is due at the time of each session.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

I do not provide emergency or crisis services. If you need immediate help, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), 911, or go to your nearest emergency department.
