Jaki Silver, LMSW
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and groups move past stuck patterns and build relationships that feel real, grounded, and emotionally alive. My approach is one of compassionate straight talk, that combines empathy with clarity to help clients untangle patterns, build emotional resilience, and navigate challenges in their personal and relational lives. I offer support for marital and premarital relationships, open and non-monogamous partnerships, and peer connections, as well as Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy for those seeking deeper breakthroughs. My practice is informed by evidence-based techniques including Gottman Method, IFS, CBT, DBT, and EFT, and I am affirming of all relationship styles and LGBTQ identifying individuals. I provide both in-person and online sessions in New York, and strive to make therapy accessible and tailored to each client’s needs.
My Story
I’ve always been fascinated by how people connect and the ways our experiences shape the relationships we build. My journey into therapy began with a desire to help others navigate life’s challenges with honesty and care. Over the years, I’ve learned that growth often comes from facing discomfort, asking hard questions, and discovering strengths you didn’t know you had. I approach my work with curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to walking alongside you as you explore your path, whether that means healing old wounds, strengthening bonds, or discovering new ways to relate to yourself and others.
